From Nev: Hello Sarah, I just wanted to say how good it was to log in to the LPGA site today to see the results and see you right up there with the leaders. I had the privelege of following your group at the Ladies Masters at Royal Pine in 2008 (i think) you had Lindsay Wright and a Kiwi player with you, maybe..Nicholson. Anyway watching you play that weekend i could see you had a lot of natural ability for the game and thought it was only a matter of time till you had some huge success come your way. I walked along with a friend of yours that day and i also chatted with you in a lift at the resort and gained the impression you were a nice young lady as well as a talented golfer. I also chatted with Katherine Hull at the practice range and she also impressed as a lovely young lady. It was good to see her have some results go her way and it will be equally enjoyable to see some results go your way this year too. Maybe this tournament (i hope) As a keen golfer myself i am proud to see people like yourself and Katherine, Lindsay and others represent our country so well on the world stage and i wish you every success in your push up the LPGA rankings. Hopefully i will get to see you play again in an Aust. event after you have won some of those rich LPGA tournaments. Good golfing and enjoy every moment you have over there living the dream. Regards Derek

Sarah's answer: Hi Derek, I am sorry to take so long to reply, I have been working hard on my golf and sometimes not hard enough on my website!! Thank you so much for your email. It is very nice! The Aussie girls over here have great camaraderie and we do thrive off each others successes. I am really pleased with how my game is coming along and excited about all my prospects here playing on the LPGA! Be assured I am an Aussie through and through and I love coming home every chance I get and to play in all the Australian events I can. If you see me out on the course please say hello! Cheers Sarah

From Shannon: Sarah, First, you’re absolutely stunning! Second, just exactly what is that tattoo that I notice you have ;-). And third, good luck this year!!! – Shannon

Sarah's answer: Hi Shannon, Firstly I’m sorry to take so long to reply. Thank you for that compliment : ) that is very nice of you! And thank you for wishes for my year. I am really happy with how things are going and I’m learning with every round! As for my tattoo - well I’m sorry to disappoint you, but my tattoo is very personal : ) Take care and thank you for following me :), Cheers Sarah

From Nev: Hi Sarah, It’s Nev, we meet in Bunnings today. I’m that idiot that asked for your autograph in the lighting section. I would have loved to stay and chat but all I could think was “don’t bother her....” but anyway it was great to meet you and good luck with everything!I won't forget what you said either...“we should play sometime” or something similar to that. I’ll hold you to it too. lol Hope you found what you were looking for and I hope to see you soon. Keep in touch – Nev :)

Sarah's answer: Hello Nev, How nice of you to drop me an email – it was a little bit funny how you went about saying hello! : ) I was pleased you got the courage in the end. As golfers we rely very much on people appreciating what we do! I couldn't make a living out of it if people weren’t interested!! I got what I was after – I hope you did too! I get a bit nervous too – so I don't really know how easy it would be to have a round of golf lol (my manager won't be happy with me saying things like that) – but if you do see me again please feel free to say hello : ) all the best, Cheers Sarah

From Scott: Hello, I run across a few golfers here in the northwoods of wisconsin. I have a chance to talk to them @ the clubhouses and pick their brains. Would like to ask a few questions, 1. Did you ever win the state championship in high school? 2. Do you consider youself good or lucky @ the game of golf? 3. Do you do anything funny before or after a round of golf? superstions? 4. Would you mind signing a golfball for me? (well since you are not here got a pic or some promotional item you could sign and send to me) thanks – Scott

Sarah's answer: Hello Scott,Thank you for your email : ) Scott I have answered your questions below - thank you fou checking out my website!! Cheers Sarah
1. Did you ever win the state championship in high school? Yes, I won a number of NSW and Australian amateur tournaments while I was still at high school!
2. Do you consider youself good or lucky @ the game of golf? lol Both : )
3. Do you do anything funny before or after a round of golf? superstions? Not really, I am probably a bit boring on that regard : )
4. Would you mind signing a golfball for me? (well since you are not here got a pic or some promotional item you could sign and send to me) Posting a ball from Australia is a little difficult but their is picture on its way : )

From Rob: How difficult has the travling been on the LPGA and do you find it more arduous than traveling in your native Australia? How different are the U.S. courses in comparison to your native country? Would it be possible to get an autograph sent to me? Thanks so much and good luck on the tour – Rob

Sarah's answer: Hi Rob, Thank you for your question. I would say traveling is the downside of being a professional golfer, but I love playing golf so much it makes up for it! Traveling around Australia and the USA aren't really that bad : ) My biggest problem is I do get homesick and it is long flight between Australia and the USA!! I don't think I can give you a general comparison between courses in Australia and the USA. I have played beautiful courses in both countries! We don't have as many tournaments in Australia, but the ones we have are presented in absolutely mint condition given the relatively small size of the tournaments. Most of the courses I play in the USA are all in tournament condition! : ) I hope that helps answer your questions!! If you are thinking of coming to Australia for a game I know you'll enjoy our golf courses : ) Thanks for checking out my website : ) Cheers Sarah

From Frank: Hello Sarah, I watched you play on the Friday at the 2009 Australian Womens Open at Metropolitan. I am interested in the weight distribution of your Taylormade R7 superquad driver. I recently bought a similar driver off ebay. It came with two 14gm and two 12 gm weight cartridges. I bought two 2gm and two 4gm weights and have been experimenting with various weight distributions. Would you mind telling me how you have the weights setup in your driver? I enjoyed watching you play but was not game to ask your caddy for a look at your driver. All the best with your golfing career. Kind regards – Frank Powell

Sarah's answer: Hi Frank, thank you for coming to watch me play.. I am sorry I didn't play a little better that week : ) You know I have to say I can‘t really give you much help on the weights in my driver. I am very lucky that as a Pro golfer I am fitted out for Clubs. When I went for my Taylor Made driver, the advisor set me up. All I can really tell you is that the weights in my driver are standard weights. My dad was caddying that day - he wouldn't have minded your asking but he wouldn't have been able to tell you too much about the club : ) Thanks for visiting my site and taking the time to write. I hope you get your driver really humming for you!! Cheers Sarah

From Nicole: I would be honoured to have my photo and name on your website. In October we are coming to Australia and hopefully if you are playing near where we are staying so we can come and watch you. Best wishes Nicole Hamilton – Cross :)

Sarah's answer: Thank you Nicole – keep an eye on my site, it will have my up to date schedule so you will always know where i am playing. Cheers Sarah

From Nicole: Hi Sarah it was great to meet you at the New Zealand Womens Open in February. I am pleased I can now follow your progress on this site. I thought this was a great photo of us. All the best – Nicole Hamilton - Cross

Sarah's answer: Hello Nicole,Thank you for sending me this photo, it is a beauty! Thank you also for having a look at my site and for taking the time to write to me. Can I put the photo on my website with your name on it? It was great to play in New Zealand, and hopefully I'll see you at the tournament next year. cheers Sarah : )

From Peter: Hi Sarah, from a fellow Tuncurry kid! I noticed in your pics a couple of you with a guy that looks strikingly like cricketer Shane Watson. How do you know Shane? Best of luck for 2009 and I hope you get a chance to come home a couple of times for some R&R. – Peter P.S love the glamour shots - if you've got it flaunt it girl.

Sarah's answer: Hi Peter, Tuncurry — one of my favourite places on earth!! : ) Yes it is me and Shane in the pictures. He was also sponsored by citizen watches for a while and I got to join him at a citizen ball. He is a really nice guy! thanks for the feedback — i like doing the glamour shots too! I'm sure 2009 will be a good year for me and I always look forward to coming home to Tuncurry. Cheers Sarah

From Jason: Hi Sarah, Good luck with the 2009 season. My wife and I live in Virginia Beach and we are wondering if you be playing at Kingsmill in Virginia USA? We’re Aussies too and it was awesome to watch one of our own tee off . It was a blast! Lots of luck and take it too them – Jason

Sarah's answer: Hi Jason, I‘m sorry to take so long to reply. Thank you for your email. I have been practicing hard and I hope 2009 is going to be a great year for me : ) I'm not guaranteed a start at Kingsmill this year but I hope to be playing. A lot of the Aussie girls are playing some good golf so hopefully you'll see meand lots of Aussies on the leader boards this year. Cheers Sarah

From Bertil: Hello Sarah, Congratulations finishing 1 in Canberra. Keep going like this ! I stil keep follow you from the Netherlands. Cheers – Bertil

Sarah's answer: Hello Bertil,Thank you : ) Hopefully 2009 will be a good year for me and it is really nice to know my supporters in Europe have not forgotten me. Cheers Sarah

From Rhonda: Hi Sarah Firstly, congratulations on your career so far. I have been playing a few years (Im 49) now and have lost confidence with my putter. How do I regain this as it is stopping me from dropping my handicap? – Rhonda

Sarah's answer: Hi Rhonda, Thank you for your email. Putting is a very interesting part of the game and an area where confidence is so important and so easily lost! One thing I suggest is to ask your local club professional to go to the practice green with you and have them take a look for anything that is wrong with your technique. when I‘m putting I concentrate on keeping my body and head very still and my arms very relaxed. I look to take the putter straight back and straight forward through my target line. Most people who lose confidence tend to forget to hit the ball. Commit to your putt then remember to hit it : ) Good Luck Rhonda and hang in there. Cheers Sarah

From John: I was reviewing your Web Site ‘Ask Sarah’ column and when reading Rob’s lengthy question in regards to the Ottawa Hunt Club CN Canadian open, he made a statement, “Your caddie strolled by and paced the yardage and I spotted your name on his back.” The word HIS jumped out at me. Sarah, is Karen still caddying for you? Hugs to both of you!! Still waiting on who will sponsor the former SemGroup Championship in 2009. – John

Sarah's answer: Hi John, Karen caddied for me all season up until my last tournament in the US for this year - Hawaii! I didn't pick up that comment, it was a long question! : ) Hugs back and I hope to see you again next season! Cheers Sarah

From jbb: Played with you on the Chesterton Golf day earlier this year and have followed your form throughout the season. Longs Drugs Challenge was a fine result for you. What do you put the improved finish down to? All the very best for the rest of the season...– jbb

Sarah's answer: Hi there, Thanks so much for your email and for following my progress. I'm really pleased with how I played this week. One of the things I have been finding hard playing in the USA is not having ready access to my coaches. I bit the bullet last time I was home and signed up with Ian Triggs, Karrie Webbs coach. He knows me from my junior days and he has had such a positive impact since I started seeing him. He is often in the States as well so knowing I have that back up has helped me heaps! Hopefully I will put in a really good showing in Hawaii too and set myself up for a good year next year! : ) Maybe I'll see you again. Cheers Sarah

From Bob: Hi Sarah, Cannot tell a lie, I didn't know much about you until this week's tournament. A likeable profile, a funny rookie/veteran questionnaire, a cute interview and some pretty good TV golf and........I'm a Sarah Kemp fan! Good luck on retaining your card, maybe a nice top ten or two over the next month so could do the trick. If not, based on the play I've seen this week, you'll do well @ Q school. Either way, hope to see lots more of your infectious smile! – Bob

Sarah's answer: Thank you so much, I had a great time this week! I was a little disappointed in my finish naturally, but I know there is more great golf in me : ) Thank you so much for visiting my site and I promise I'll be trying my hardest to be back for next season! Cheers Sarah

From S Lee: What's the tattoo on your hip? – S Lee

Sarah's answer: Hi there, Yes I do have a tattoo on my hip : ) Please forgive me though – I prefer to keep it a mystery! Thanks for visiting my site! Cheers Sarah

From Peter: You made quite an impression on my daughters yesterday at the Longs Drugs Challenge. They both received high fives from you after saying, “Go Aussie” when you walked from the 8th green to the 9th tee. I was pleased to see Longs agreed to sponsor the tournament for the next two years as we will be back to cheer you on. Thanks for making their day. – Peter

Sarah's answer: Hi Peter, It's so nice to feel I have some fans and support when I'm out there playing. : ) Thank you for your email and let the girls know I'll be listening for the ‘Go Aussie’ cheer again next year! Cheers Sarah

From Michael: Hi Sarah, What a terrific week at Blackhawk! So deep into a long and gruelling season, too. I would like to congratulate you on a truly admirable display of excellence and stamina. It's precisely what's needed to compete at the highest level and you have certainly got it. Bravo! – Michael

Sarah's answer: Thank you Michael, I was really pleased with my efforts! I have learned so much this year, it’s quite amazing. It has taken a little while to be realized on the golf course, but I really feel like I’m getting there! I’m looking forward to another strong performance in Hawaii this week. thanks again. cheers Sarah : )

From Paul: Hi Sarah, I wish you all the best with your US tournaments. You're a fine golfer & I've seen you come up through the junior ranks with flying colours. But I know my daughter Emily Gray one day would like to follow in your steps. Emily has just about finished her final year in her PGA training & I’m not sure if she will meet up with you during the Club Cart Series. Anyhow take care & I’m sure there’s a lot of aussies cheering for you. – Paul Gray (Em’s Dad)

Sarah's answer: Hi Paul, Thank you for your good wishes.. It has been a bit of a struggle on the tour of late, but I am hitting it pretty well so I’m it is only a matter of time ; ) Say hi to Em and I'll look out for her in the Club Car this year. I hope to be playing some of the events, I’m not sure which ones though as yet. Thank you for checking out my website too! cheers Sarah

From Scott: Hey Sara, Saw you only had 30 putts on Thursday’s round. I'm sure that is due to the number of putts we made you take in Monday’s pro am? I look forward to watching you on TV over the weekend. I hope you and Karen have a good time in Destin beach. Good luck today! Roll Tide! – Scott Adams

Sarah's answer: Hi Scott, Yeah I was pretty happy with my putting during the week ; ) I'm sure you guys made all the difference! My weekend was a little disappointing but it's not far away. Thanks heaps for dropping me a note. Cheers Sarah

From Rob: Hello Sarah, It has been brought to my attention that I am responsible for your CN tournament result at the Ottawa Hunt Club CN Canadian open. You see it all started on Thursday, when I went to the hunt club to watch some LPGA players play golf. I was there with my brother, we looked at the score card and went to the different players we wanted to see. The day grew late and I noticed that many of the players were shooting plus scores. I turned to my brother and said lets look at the digital score board and find a LPGA player that is having a good round. After a minute or two your name came across the board. I turned to my brother and said there she is, Sarah Kemp is minus 3 at hole 16. She is the one I want to encourage her and support her and tell her that she is having a good golf day. So off we trotted to the 18th hole about half way down the fairway we trotted with our folding chairs. I calculated approximately where you would land and where your second shot would land to rest. After a few minutes a golf ball hit our side of the fair way and rested just in front of us. I said to Tom my brother I sure hope this is Sara's ball. Your caddie strolled by and paced the yardage and I spotted your name on his back. I spoke out "This is awesome now I can see Sara and clap for her and wish her well". – Little did I know that this actions would have undesirable results. You see Sarah I was at a friends summer BQ a couple of weeks ago, and the question was put to everyone What actor best resembled your personality and character? Many at the party picked top actors, which I had a hard time believing most of them and their picks. The question came to me and after a minute to think is said. " I believe the way my life goes and the situations I find myself in a times. These times are rare I want to clarify to you. I have to say I am most like GEORGE of Seinfeld fame. Unfortunately my brother and my close friend agreed with my pick. – What does all this have to do with your golf game, well, there I was sitting on the 18th fairway, you are there right in front of me, preparing to hit your second shot to the green. I sat silently going over in my mind what I was going to say to you. Sara you hit your shot and then I clapped for you and shouted to you "Sarah you are having a good golf day, Keep it going girl". I am sure you remember this support cry for you, you turned back and waved at me and said thank you. – Unfortunately I set in motion the George Golf Jinx to you. I did not notice until the next day that you boggied the 18th that day. I had a week pass and when I arrived Friday afternoon, only to notice from the scoreboard that you shot above par. I met my brother at the score board and he noticed my disappointed look. Tom asked me whats wrong, I said Nothing, just looked at him and said who do you want to see today play. – I made a promise at the scoreboard to not see you play again the rest of the weekend, that was the least I could do to try to turn your golf fortunes around. – Saturday morning came and I headed straight to the sport pages and crossed my fingers you made the cut. I was happy to see that you did. So I was eager to see what you were playing Saturday. I entered the Hunt Club golf grounds and went directly to the scoreboard w There I was with my brother in tow. I was eagerly watching the score board when your name shot up and your score was revealed. I cried out "OH MY GOD NOOOO", at that moment my brother turned to me and said "What did you do ROB- What did you do to Sara"?.. I said NOTHING I Just Wished her well on Thursday. Tom said You Jinxed her Rob, you totally Jinxed her. – So there it is Sarah you were Jinxed by me and I offer my most sincerest apology to you. Your golf game was totally out of your control, it was destined to go south, I placed the George Jinx on you. I hope this clarifies and answers some questions that you had about what happened. – So if you ever decide to come back to Canada and play the LPGA CN Canadian open at the Hunt Club again, you might want to decide to hit the other side of the fairway on the 18th hole on the first tournament day, or ask your caddie to carry ear plugs in your bag, so you can avoid some knucklehead George type from throwing another George Jinx your way. – The good thing is that the George Jinx ends quickly and then is replaced with much good fortune. So I will be eagerly anticipating your top 10 finishes in the coming weeks. For I write all long winded apology story to you with a tongue in cheek attitude. I have always felt that you make good things happen and when dark clouds are around you , keeping a positive cheerful outlook will bring good results in golf as in life. – Hope this brought a smile and a chuckle to your day – All the best to you Sarah – Rob On The Course

Sarah's answer: Hi Rob, So it was you! I wondered why the wheels fell off : ) Next time I would like you to put the jinx on someone like Lorena please.. lol – Thank you for taking the time to write and yes I enjoyed it enormously. In all seriousness, it is great to have people interested in my golf and taking the time to watch me play a couple of shots. When I'm at the CN next year I'll look out for you and make sure I continue to play well! Thanks for your wishes for my future tournaments - I'm looking forward to being a little further up the leader board. – all the best Rob on the Course.... cheers Sarah

From Jason: Hi Sarah,I am currently a member of the British Royal Navy serving out in Camp Victory in Baghdad, Iraq with a number of Australian and other Coalition Forces. – I am an avid golf player and PGA/LPGA fan, but have trouble keeping the handicap down out here!! – I am also a big fan of yours and always look out for your results on the LGPA Tour, I was wondering if it could be possible to send me a signed picture/poster of you to the address below to put up on my wall in my basic accommodation out here in Iraq?? Look forward to hearing from you, Regards – Jason Humphreys

Sarah's answer: Hi Jason, Thank you so much for your email - wow! I can't imagine what it must be like for you in Iraq - You guys are doing a great job under what must be tough conditions - I can only really imagine : ) Take care won't you! – I guess playing golf would be difficult - I hope you at least have a club and a ball there to have the occasional swing! Thank you so much for your interest in my golf - it is really nice to know. I have asked Joan my manager to organise to send a signed photo and she'll also send you a pdf poster - I don't have a printed one at the moment. All the best and thanks again.. cheers Sarah

From Phil: Hi Sarah, Nice start to the Farr, now the rough round is out of the way, good scoring and the best of luck for the remainder of the tournament. Regards. Phil Greenway & Family.

Sarah's answer: Hi Phil, thanks for the note. I have been struggling a bit on tour having missed quite a few cuts. I did get off to a solid start in the Farr but then fell away to miss another one : ( I’m pleased with my performances at State Farm tho! I won’t be at the British this year. I’m back in Australia now and will spend some solid time with my coaches and practicing. I’m really determined for a strong finish to the LPGA season this year. Thanks for keeping in touch. cheers Sarah.

From Mark: Hi Sarah...I guess you are in Mexico preparing for this weeks tournament.Having not played last week in mission hills did you head straight to this weeks venue? And if you did, did you get in some extra practice on this weeks course? How do you cope with all the travel from country to country? Does it take its toll on the body or are you used to it now?Lorena looks hard to beat in her current form and playing in her home country might be hard to beat ...but I am sure after your very promising 15th place that you are ready to challenge on Sunday...here's hoping anyway.I saw a bit of the Arizona tournament and I have to say the faiways looked like carpet on the television...were they a dream to play on?One thing I wanted to know is that when you miss a cut and proceed to the next venue who takes care of all your travel or revised travel arrangements? Hope you have a good week Sarah ...all the very best to you!! Kind regards ...Mark..

Sarah's answer: Hello again Mark, I am in Mexico preparing for this weeks event : ) I actually went to Mission Hills for the week. I wanted to get a feel for the atmosphere at a US Major. It has made me more determined to qualify for the event next year. As a pro golfer you have to travel – so it doesn’t pay to let travel get you down – there are too many upsides to what I do to let that bother me!! Lorena is awesome – and  a really nice lady. She is in great form, but she must have looked at Annika Sorenstam in the same way. In golf anyone is beatable on any given day, all I can do is work hard on my game and go out in each round and give my all. I believe the results will come. Arizona was one of the nicest course I have ever played – it was beautiful. I look after all my own travel and it depends on when and where the next event is on – as to what I do : ) Thanks for your good wishes – I’m really looking forward to this week – hopefully I can do better than Arizona!!

From Peter: Hi sarah first of all I wanna say what a great golfer you are,,even though i never really saw you play much, but you are quite a hot topic amongst the female players here in Switzerland and I would love to have your professional opinion about "what to wear on the green" as you perfectly put it,I just started my own business designing very unique wear and woul love to hear you comment(s)here is my website soo please do pop in and drop me a line. Thanks you kindly and warm greetings from Switzerland.Peter www.pa-collection.com

Sarah's answer: Hi Peter, thank you for writing to me! I played the LET for two years and really enjoyed it. I can’t imagine being the hot topic amongst fellow golfers, there are so many great players in Europe. Peter I have a contract to a clothing company called Five Under so forgive me for not making specific comment on your range! I do believe that when you go out to play you must feel comfortable in the clothes you wear. For it is also important to feel that I look nice. I am fashion conscious – I love clothing and being able to wear clothing that compliments my tastes is very important to me. Greetings to you there in Switzerland and thank you so much for writing – cheers Sarah : )

From Mike: Sarah, well done over the last weekend,a great result after all your hard work, just wish the family were there to cheer you on,enjoyed our holiday in Hawaii and yes ,still wear the jetstar cap, best of luck and will watch you climb the ladder of success.again well done!!

From Sarah: Thanks Mike – the family are always with me and cheering me on – know matter where I am and that is of course a great feeling : ) I’m glad you had a great holiday and I hope I can take my game to even better levels from here on in- thanks again for your best wishes and I’m very glad the cap has come in handy!! : ) cheers Sarah

From Steph: Hi Sarah .. First of all, congrats on Q school. I have followed the LET for several years and it is so nice for me to see you playing here now. As I followed the scoring on line yesterday, after the birdie on 9, and the way you played the back nice all week, I was rooting for you big time for a top 10 finish. When the bogey on 18 showed up, I felt so bad for you. But.. remember.. you HAVE arrived. When the television coverage finally showed up, I saw the wind was totally different from the other 3 days. Congrats on a TOP 15 finish. You will do well here. Experience is the best teacher. I look forward to seeing you play in person this summer. Reguards.. Steph

From Sarah: Hi Steph, thank you so much for sending me your message. Q - school was amazing and now that I’m here in the States – well it is just so unbelievable. I was a little disappointed that I didn’t do better in the last round, I so wanted that top 10 – but you know the experience I gained was just so amazing! Hopefully I can keep getting better from here : ) thanks again – cheers Sarah.

From Mark: Hi Sarah...Well congratulations are in order on finishing 15th in only your third event on the lpga tour.Firstly were the nerves going into this event after missing the cut in Hawaii twice?Hey Sarah you must have a liking for the desert courses following up on your performance in the Dubai event last year...or is it just coincidence.I did not catch any of the action on fox but I"ll definitely try to see it when they replay it.Must be a great confidence builder for the rest of the tour season...I am absolutely thrilled for you. How did you rate your game over the 4 rounds and what was the part of your game that pleased you the most? I guess the break at home freshened you up and it seems you hit the ground running. Will you be playing again in next week's major?Sadly there is not much coverage in the the press but if you keep that form up your phone will be ringing hot!! Well done Sarah...congratultions again..cheers from one of your biggest fans.......Mark.

From Sarah: Hi there Mark, thank you for your good wishes. I am very pleased with my efforts in Arizona. I don’t know about a link to Dubai, but I did really enjoy the course. It wasn’t necessarily the hardest or the best course I have played but is definitely one of the nicest!! I wasn’t nervous going into the event, the greens were really fast and I love fast greens! A lot of players were complaining about how fast they were so it helped me to feel more positive knowing I was playing the types of greens I love. I putted really really well : ) Had I finsied top 10 I would have got a start next week; but just missed out – nevermind the experience has been so positive : ) Mexico in two weeks – I can’t wait!!! Cheers Sarah : )

From Geoff : well done finishing t15- we are all glad to see you do so well will be watching out for the next game –all the best

From Sarah : Hi Geoff, Thank you! The next game I’m playing is in Mexico in two weeks. Hopefully I can shoot even better : )

From Daryl : congratulations on your finish in the safeway hope it will be a start of things to come

From Sarah : Thank you Daryl, I hope so too! It is certainly my plan anyway : ) cheers Sarah

From Phil : Hi Sarah,::Very nice result! Top 20, fantastic.::Well Done!::Phil.

From Sarah : Thank you Phil, I am really please with my result. Just a touch disappointed with my last round but the experience I have gained is unbelievable.

From Mark : Hi Sarah…Happy Easter…hope you enjoyed your break..now its time to show the LPGA what you got.If you are playing in Arizona this week all the very best.Hope you come out of the blocks strong and are competing on the weekend..stay in touch…cheers Mark

From Sarah : Hello Mark, Sorry I haven’t answered sooner. I hope you had a nice Easter too! I did play in Arizona this week. I had a really great week! It was such a great experience and gave me a lot of confidence. I was hoping for a top 10 so I could play at the Kraft Nabisco next week.. oh well : ( I’m off to Mexico now for my next event in two weeks. Cheers Sarah

From Donald :I am a huge fan of you . I think you are an awesome athlete and so very pretty. I was wondering if you could PLEASE send me an autograph...ball, photo, cut-out, anything. From Sarah : Hi Don, I have forwarded your email to my management at Macrison – They will organise to get something sent to you. Thank you for following my golf Cheers Sarah :

From Mark: Hi Sarah....Welcome back home...hopefully it willbe a more triumphant return on your next break. Were you eligible to play in singapore? Do you folllow the golf tours when you are not playing or do you prefer to get away completely?I am a bit surprised that you are taking such a long break but I suppose all the travel, practice and preparation can take its toll. Will it be hard to get back into tournament play or will the break help to recharge the batteriesI read in a golf magazine that you are a Dragons fan....unfortunately I go for Souths...but thats Ok.Do you ever get to any games or is there no time?Hope you are fine tuning that great swing of yours...At Tuncurry?....its a lovely part of NSW..so enjoy that break and look forward to following your next tournament...all the best Sarah...thanks for staying in touch...cheers Mark.

Sarah's answer: "Hi Mark, thank you – no I wasn’t eligible to play in Singapore – Next year hopefully! I keep an eye on what is going on, especially where I have friends playing, but I don’t follow it intensely. After this break I will be gone from home for a long time (well for me anyhow) so I’m glad of the opportunity to come home to do some practice and see family and friends again : ) I can’t say I’m a huge footy fan. I guess I follow St George, but I wouldn’t say its a passion of mine : ) If I go to the footy I’ll go an watch any team, although I don’t really get the opportunity very often. I’m pleased with my practice and very eager to get back to the States for another crack at a tournament – hopefully you’ll see me a lot higher on the leader board this time. Thanks again for your interest and following my golf. Cheers Sarah : ) "

From Craig: Hi Sarah, Want to wish you well in Mexico next week!::Here are a few of my favorite quotes from Bobby Locke::“You can tell a good putt by the noise it makes.” ::"The real success in golf lies in turning three shots into two." ::"Very early in my career I realized that putting was half the game of golf. No matter how well I might play the long shots, if I couldn't putt, I would never win."::“The toughest six inches in golf is the six inches between your ears.”::Hope one of these keeps you in good company!::::A fan "fore"ver,::Craig Lock::Denton, TX

Sarah's answer: "Hello Craig, thank you for your good wishes, I’m looking forward to playing again. I think all the quotes you list from Bobby Locke will keep me in good company : ) I have been doing a lot of work with YES putters and it is a great product and a great technique for putting. I highly recommend it. Thank you for being a fan, especially one from America! (I’m still so new to the States) :-D cheers Sarah"

From Mark: Hi again Sarah....I suppose missing 2 cuts in a row is a little disappointing for you and your supporters....especially me...however I was buoyed by the fact that it was only a matter of starting the tournaments a little better that will see you competing at the weekends. How was the course at "fields" and what aspect of your game was better between rounds 1 and 2 that accounted for the 7 shot turnaround? Are you playing in Singapore this week and if not what is your next tournament?Even though it has been not an ideal start on the LPGA as long as you learn from your experience it will benefit you in the long run. Some of that Q school or Royal Sydney form would be nice to see!!!Hang in there Sarah I 'm sure you will be mixing it up on the LPGA before to long ...I know you have the game to do so...thanks again for all your responses ...and no I am not a sports journalist..just a very interested supporter of yours!!!!Best of luck Sarah...cheers Mark...

Sarah's answer: "Hi Mark, I have read both your questions – I hope it’s ok to give one response : ) It is always disappointing to miss the cut – but I am still very positive and confident my performance will improve! I am somewhat renowned for being a little slow out of the blocks and it is something Peter Knight and I have been working on. I have to try and get myself into better positions in the 1st rounds. Really the difference between my rounds was luck. My first double bogey resulted from a great drive – middle of fairway landing in a huge divot. Things went bad from there and I couldn’t get my momentum back. Having said that – that’s golf: ) I’m feeling so good about the LPGA and you can’t imagine how much I have learnt  from these two events. I can’t wait to get to Arizona and have another tournament!  I’m not playing in Singapore – I’m home for a month now. My next tournament is the Safeway back in the States. Thank you for all your support, I didn’t think you were a journo but it would not have concerned me if you were : ) Thanks again for your interest in my career Mark. Cheers Sarah : ) "

From Geoff: KEEP POSITIVE HOPE TO SEE DO BETTER NEXT TIME- ALSO I WILL BE UO AT FOSTER IN APRIL TO & WILL CALL IN ON YOUR MUM

Sarah's answer: "Hi Geoff, thank you for your support. I’m still feeling positive and I know I can do better. Hawaii has been a good guide for me and a good platform to build and learn from. Thanks again, and enjoy lovely Forster Tuncurry! Cheers Sarah : ) "

From Mark: Hi Sarah...Your typing skills do not need improving ..your responses to all the questions are a joy to read and learn about you and your life on the golf tour. You must be proud of the impact you have made and the support you get from the media....even some of the mens golfing publications are carryiny pictures of your silky golf swing....cannot imagine what needs changing!!! Does your swing coach trvel with you while on the LPGA?Any time for any sight seeing or is it too busy with your preparation ? If I don"t write again before the start of the "fields" have a good tournament and have fun out there!!! All the best Sarah!!!!

Sarah's answer: "Thanks Mark, I’m going to do better at “Fields” – well that’s my plan anyway : ) the media have been very good to me, it is such an important part of being a professional sportsperson. No my coach doesn’t travel with me – maybe when I’m ranked a little higher on the LPGA money list : ) Practice, play and life balance are an important part of my approach to golf, so I always try and get out and about if I can. Still this is the big league now for women’s golf and it is very important to me to make the most of this opportunity with the LPGA. Cheers Sarah "

From Darryl: hi sarah just a note to say i hope you enjoy your first year on the lpga and hope you have a successful and great time

Sarah's answer: "Hi Darryl, Thank you for your note, it is so exciting to be playing on the LPGA. I’m having a great time and hope to better each week. Cheers Sarah"

From Mark: Hello Again Sarah...What a shame to miss the cut by a solitary shot on your first outing on the Lpga...I find myself checking the scores on the ladies tour first before the men...that says something for the interest you have generated for me in women's golf.So how was it on the LPGA for a first timer...the quality of the course..and those swing changes you were working on??I suppose changes are a gradual thing and will work better in time...can you fill me in omn what you are working on?Have you got Skye back on the bag for the Lpga?Do you socilise with any of the other Aussies there on the tour? One final thing.. I wanted to know who is the highest profile player you have played with since turning professional?I will finish here for now and wish you all the best for your next tournament...thanks again Sarah for all your responses..it provides a great insight to your life on tour..cheers Mark..

Sarah's answer: "Hi there Mark, I hate missing the cut by 1 – I’d rather miss by 10 : ) Still for my first event on the LPGA I was pleased my efforts. I’m glad you have taken an interest in Women’s golf, I think both the men’s and women’s tour has much to offer by way of golfing entertainment. I’m pretty happy with where my swing is at, at the moment. With my swing I have a bit of a tendency to drop inside the line – I need to keep focused on that on the range. Mark is on my bag here in Hawaii. All the Aussies tend to help each other out over here, it has been a huge help for me. Karie is one of my idols and I am thrilled to have played some golf with her. I have also played with Laura Davies which is always fun. Thank again for your note. Cheers Sarah  : )

From Reginaldo: Are you playing in México? Could you pls send me your schedule. Chacho Cepeda. - Golf Writer in Mexico and TV Commentator. PLS enter www.elrumboesgolf. com.mx

Sarah's answer: "Hello Chacho, Yes I am planning to play in Mexico. I will ask my manager Joan to forward you my schedule cheers Sarah  : )

From Geoff: BAD LUCK THIS TIME-HOPE TO SEE YOU UP THE TOP NEXT GAME-ANY TIPS ON PUTTING

Sarah's answer:Hi Geoff, Thank you so much. I am hoping for a better result next time too.. : ) The best thing I ever did for my putting was get fitted up by the people at YES putters. They shortened my putter quite a lot and worked with me on my stance and stroke. Speed and line are so critical once you think you have them right, commit to your putt and hit it! . Good luck: ) cheers Sarah ) "

From Sean: Big fan and I enjoyed your site. I would love an autograph picture if possible where can I get one? Best of luck to you in 2008 Thanks!!!::Sean Sullivan::PO Box 495 Mill Valley CA 94942

Sarah's answer: "Hi Sean, Thank you! I’m pleased you enjoyed my site when you visited : ) Please come back again! I’m back in Australia after the Fields open and will talk to my manager and see what we can organise. I know if you send a self addressed stamped envelop to Joan C/o Macrison Co Pty Ltd, Locked Bag 1003 Concord NSW Australia 2137, she will certainly organise one for you. Thank you for your best wishes – I am so excited to be playing on the LPGA this year. cheers  : ) "

From Rob: Hi Sarah,::It was lovely to see so much of you on the TV at the recent ANZ Ladies Masters. You seem like such a sweety and a great role model for young players.::Can you tell me how hard it is to keep your concentration for four rounds of a major tournament, as I find it hard enough to keep my head together for 18 holes.::Thanks, and best of luck for 2008. I hope to see you do really well this year.::Rob

Sarah's answer: "Hi Rob, I would have liked to have been a little closer to the top of the leader board – but I did enjoy some good signs in my golf, especially in rounds 2 and 3 : ) I don’t know about being a sweety but thank you for your compliment regarding being a good role model. I hope so! What I do to help my concentration is to relax and have fun and chat and think about other things between each shot. I only switch my focus back on as I’m getting close to my ball. Then I really apply myself to what I need to do with each shot. I also try and really balance my time off the course. I work hard when I practice but I try and do quality rather than quantity so that I get good time to refresh mentally between each round. Thank you for your good wishes and I’ll certainly be giving it everything I can this year : ) cheers Sarah  : ) "

From Mark: Hi Sarah...It was pleasing to see you made the cut at Royal Pines ...Did you make a decent cheque? The course looked pretty tight with a lot of water..how did you find it compared to Kingston Heath? I happened to catch you omon the Channel coverage coaching some young kids...good on you!!When you play a new coursre how many times do you get to see it before the tournament starts?Good luck in Hawaii for your first tilt on the LPGA..are you nervous or will it be like any other tournament...must be an exciting time for you..all the very best from one of your biggest fans!!Thanks for responding to all my Questions..hit em long and straight!!!

Sarah's answer: "Hi Mark, you are certainly helping me to improve my typing skills : ) It was good to make the cut at the ANZ Ladies masters for sure! The Pines is a great course and I always love playing there. I did have a bit of trouble with some water on the 10th in round 2, but generally I think the course is forgiving enough. I was struggling at Kingston Heath because of some of the swing work I have been doing in preparation for America – so for that reason it would be unfair to judge the Heath harshly. I think it’s a great course with its own challenges. I try and get to most courses the Monday before an event. I play the Pro Ams and the practice rounds and my caddies usually walk the course to measure distances. If I don’t know the course, that is usually as much preparation as I get. I’m excited about the LPGA. I’m sure I’ll be a little nervous when I walk on to the first tee of competition, mostly though I’m just so looking forward to it. Thanks again for your interest and support and be assured I’ll be doing my best out there  : ) "

From Luke: Dear Sarah,::Would you like to be the first Pro. golfer to own an original golf course landscape painting by me. I'm being feature in the next issue of Womens Golf magazine. If you're interested then have a look at www.lukeharvey.com. I would love for you to be the first owner of one of my oil paintings. I can paint any course that might be special to you.::Take Care and good luck this year.::Luke

Sarah's answer: "Hello Luke, wow you are an artist. Thank you for taking a look at my site and forwarding me off your question. At the moment I travel so much I would have no wear to put a painting but I wish you every success. I have been featured in Women’s golf magazine myself and I think it’s a great publication, so I hope it helps you make lots of sales. Thank you for your best wishes. Cheers Sarah "
