Kemp’s drive struck a tree branch, hopped high off an adjacent cart path and floated over a tall fence into the backyard of a nearby house. Kemp returned to the tee and chose a safer line, along the left edge of the fairway. She ultimately salvaged bogey to complete a front-nine 40. Sarah Kemp played five years of golf waiting for her first hole in one, knocking a seven iron into the cup at the first hole at Riversdale on Tuesday. But she had to wait only 24 hours for her second. Kemp, a 17-year-old prodigy uncovered in Sydney by the Jack Newton Golf Foundation, walked on to the par-three first hole in the Riversdale Cup tournament yesterday and pulled out the seven iron again. »read more
